About Event:

During October half term 27th October - 31st October, the museum will have a new display on the story of Winne the Pooh author, A.A. (Alan Alexander) Milne. 10 years before writing his famous book, Milne served as a Signals Officer in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment during the Somme offensive of the First World War. We retell the dramatic story of his time on the frontline in northern France and also Winnie's wartime connections.

There will be the chance to dress as a Signal Officer and use the different WW1 communication tools to work out what Pooh said to Piglet! You can also enter the Winnie the Pooh art competition with the chance to win prizes! There is plenty at the museum to keep your family entertained and learn about this holiday.
